Inspiration for the God and Country shirt has come in part from Shelly and Roger Diehm whom have displayed two 6-feet tall granite tablets engraved with the Ten Commandments in a store plaza. The couple received hundreds of cards, letters and e-mails in support of the move, but have faced some minor opposition.

"We wanted to make a stand and the best way to make that stand was to put emphasis on a biblical scripture that our country was founded on and that's where the Ten Commandments come from" Shelly said. "In this day and age, when economics are tough, we're looking across the board at so many things and it gives people encouragement, it gives them hope."
